AI disclosure
Last updated August 19, 2026. EzGrub is a beta product.
EzGrub uses AI (xAI / Grok) when you ask it to build a table. That is optional in the sense that you press the button; it is not a human dietitian reviewing your week.
What AI is asked to do
- Look up a public weekly grocery circular for stores you picked, when our cache is stale.
- Suggest recipes and a shopping split from those sale items and your goals.
- Read a circular photo or pasted prices you provide, for that build only.
If a lookup fails, we fall back to a sample catalog so you still get a suggested table. That catalog is not this week’s real ad.
What AI output is not
Not medical advice. Not a complete circular. Not a claim that a meal will hit a nutrient target. Recipes and nutrition numbers are suggestions. Prices are read from the ad we found or the one you uploaded; they may differ in store.
What is sent
Store picks, meal counts, protein and skip lists, goals, and (if you upload one) the circular text or photo for that request. We do not ask AI for your name. Guest builds are not stored as an identity. Public sale items that result from a successful lookup may be cached for other shoppers, without your account attached. Uploaded photos are not kept.
