Last updated August 19, 2026. EzGrub is a beta product.
We do not want your personal life in our database. EzGrub is built so you can plan meals as a guest. Personal information is collected only if you choose to sign in to save tables.
If you never sign in
Your goals, stores, proteins, last plan, ZIP scan, and nearby store list stay in your browser (local storage). We do not get a name, email, or profile from that. Hitting Build sends only the meal settings needed to suggest a table — not a name. A ZIP scan is not uploaded to an account.
If you sign in
Google or X (the methods this host actually offers) send us an account identifier, and usually a display name, email, and avatar, so we can show you the tables you saved. We use that only to run your account. We do not sell it, do not use it for ads, and do not use your nutrition goals for marketing. A ZIP scan still lives only in the browser.
Shared grocery ads (not about you)
When anyone successfully fetches a public weekly circular, we keep the sale items — names, prices, units, store, and week dates — so the next person who picks that store does not need a fresh lookup. That cache is store data, not a person. It is not tied to an account.
If you photograph or paste a circular, we read it once to suggest that table. The photo is not stored, and those prices are not written into the shared cache. Only public lookups are reused across users.
If you tap “Report missing sales,” we store only the store name, optional ZIP from a scan on this device, and the time — no account. That helps us see which banners we cannot fetch.

Sign-in goes through Grok’s auth broker (Google/X). Recipe and circular reading may go through xAI. Hosting is on the Grok app platform. We do not run ad trackers today.
Your choices
Stay a guest. Clear this site’s data in your browser to drop local prefs. Signed-in saved tables can be deleted from Saved. To wipe an account we hold, email us from the address on that account or use Sign out and stop saving.
